Travelling from Malaga airport
By train
The local train service runs between Malaga and Fuengirola every 30 minutes. The trains are clean, reliable and very reasonable.
By taxi
There is a taxi rank right outside the airport, and taxi drivers will take you anywhere within the Costa del Sol area. The fares are all fixed and predetermined according to the distance involved, so a taxi driver should quote you exactly how much the journey will cost before you get in the vehicle, regardless of being held up in traffic etc. The fare from the airport to Fuengirola is around €30.
By car
There are several car hire companies based at the airport for you to choose from. If you prefer a local, friendly, family-run company we can recommend Rally Rent a Car, based in Benalmadena. Rally offer a free airport pick up and drop off service.
