What does the weight control programme involve and how many sessions will I need to help me lose weight?

The first session lasts about 2 hours, during which time we go through a fairly in-depth questionnaire, the answers to which help us to personalise the follow-up sessions. We then spend a little time talking about our attitude to weight control in general, using some NLP and Cognitive techniques, and this is followed by a hypnosis session, lasting around 30 minutes. The follow up sessions last an hour each, including 30 minutes of hypnosis.


We normally suggest that clients have a course of six sessions; this is often enough, although some people may require more. Ideally the second session should be within a few days of the first session, then the following four sessions at weekly intervals. Clients may then attend further follow-up sessions as often as they feel they need to, maybe coming along once per month for a few months.
