Will I be able to remember everything after a hypnosis session and is it possible to ever
get "stuck" in a hypnotic trance?
Different people achieve different levels of hypnosis. Some remember everything that was said, some can't remember very much, and others feel as though they remember bits and pieces, just as though they were drifting in and out of different levels of awareness. What you will find is that however much you thought you did or didn't remember about the session, all of the beneficial suggestions that have been put to your highly receptive subconscious mind during hypnosis will gradually resurface in your conscious mind to produce positive changes in your behaviour and habits and your way of thinking and feeling.
No-one has ever remained in hypnosis
indefinitely. If the hypnotherapist left the room in the middle of a
session, or stopped speaking for a long period of time, depending on
how deep a trance has been induced, then the person under hypnosis
would either fall asleep for a short while before waking up normally,
feeling refreshed and relaxed, or they would simply come out of the
trance automatically after a few minutes.
